Blogs to Check Out – Picturing Disney!

As we continue on with our series, I’m bringing to you some blogs that you might want to take a look at. I am both proud and honored to be affiliated with both the great writers of Chip & Company, and the incredible group that is known as the Magical Blogorail, and in this small way, I hope to be able to say thanks to those bloggers that have helped to make me the blogger that I am. Next on our list is my friend Melissa’s site, Picturing Disney!

My friend Melissa is one of the awesome writers for Chip and Company.  Although she has only been a writer on staff since March, she has been extremely busy!  When you count all of her posts, as well as her special pages that are posted on Chip and Company, she has more than 250 posts and pages!

In addition to her writing for Chip and Company, she also has a Tumblr blog.  I don’t know a whole lot about Tumblr, and have never written in it before, but it seems like the basic premise of the site is that you write your thoughts down, and it seems to flow from page to page, thought to thought.  In that respect, it is a cool concept, and Melissa has some great thoughts, pictures, and ideas.

If you haven’t been to check out Tumblr, why don’t you start with my friend Melissa’s page?  And while you are at it, you can read her posts on Chip and Company here!

Blogs to Check Out – Mommy Mouseketeer!

Next on our list is my friend Ashley’s site, Mommy Mouseketeer!

Ashley is a member of the Magical Blogorail Black line, and is a great blogger.  She has written many memorable posts for both the Blogorail and for her own enjoyment, but the one post out of all of them that I liked and has stuck with me since the time I saw it was her line’s Magical Blogorail Black post for the month of August.  That post theme was about their favorite character dining moment, and Ashley’s post is full of incredible photographs of her favorite moment, which was at one of our favorite places to eat, Crystal Palace.

The Magical Blogorail has been a great avenue to bring all sorts of Disney enthusiasts together with our blogs to share our love of Walt Disney World, and Ashley and her blog are excellent examples of that.  If you haven’t been to see her blog for yourself, click on the image at the top and head on over to check it out!

Carousel of Progress – 2 Days Til Disney!

Today’s picture is from one of my favorite shows in all of Walt Disney World.  As you all probably know, the Carousel of Progress was first featured in the 1964 Worlds Fair in New York!  The thing that I like most about this show is how you are transported back in time to times during the 20th Century.  This show is great, and one that I love to see every time I’m at the Magic Kingdom!
