Greetings everyone, and welcome to the start of our new countdown series! Today is 100 days until we arrive at Walt Disney World, and for each day that ticks off the calendar, we’re going to feature a particular aspect of Walt Disney World that we want to experience for ourselves. This could comprise an attraction, a parade, a fireworks show, a regular show — or, in the case of today’s post, a sign…
Tell the truth, friends — is there a sign anywhere in the world that is as welcoming, as inviting, as much fun to see anywhere in the world as the Walt Disney World sign is? I know for my family, when we see that sign, we have arrived home, and everyone knows it! It’s a time for smiles, for the cares of the travel to just melt away; for the “are we there yet?” questions to evaporate into the air — because the answer is “Yes! We are there!”
In the days to come, you’ll see posts featuring such rides as Test Track, Toy Story Mania, Soarin’, and other great attractions. However, you’ll also see posts about riding the monorail, making Rope Drop, and collecting Disney Dollars. The range of our posts will cover many things that you might want to explore on your own trips, so treat these as a catalog of sorts, and reference them when you are planning your trip! Thanks for stopping by, now please go out and make it a great Disney Day everyone!
